Just in pragmatic terms, it is a very miopic way of dealing with things in my current opinion. The incentives that produce the race and the aberrant behavior we see are not affected if a CEO is no longer in the company, another one will just replace it if the company "wants" to stay alive. Let's focus on more and better and better ideas of what another system, a new one, would look like and how to transition there.
